1339 Electrical Tape Polyester Film/Glass Filament Reinforced with Acrylic, Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Data Sheet Excellent conformability High tensile strength High dielectric strength Class B (130°C) UL recognition 3M Electrical Tape 1339 is a polyester film/glass filament tape coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive system. The polyester film/glass backing has excellent physical and electrical characteristics. The back side of the tape has a special coating which allows for an even, controlled unwind. It also promotes permanent anchoring in application. Typical applications for 1339 include lead anchoring, banding of coils, lead tape anchoring and other uses where tensile strength is needed. UL Component Recognition • Temperatures not exceeding 130°C UL File Number E17385 A and B, Guide OANZ2. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) recognized products have been evaluated for use as components of end-product equipment that is listed or classified by UL. To achieve Underwriters Laboratories recognition, component construction must meet UL specifications and conditions of acceptability for proper and safe use of the component or product.
