It is designed for high temperature applications, used on coils, capacitors and wire harnesses. 1-mil polyimide Kapton� backing Silicone adhesive • Supplied on 3 inch cores Like all 3M insulating tapes, 3M 92 Tape is available in standard and custom widths and lengths. Standard length is 36 yards. Widths from 1/4” to 23” Longer lengths up to several times normal length, dependent upon width. Check with Customer Service. Properties Applications 3M 92 Tape is used for high temperature electrical applications in which a tough, thin insulating material is required for wrapping coils, transformers, capacitors and wire harnesses. It is also used in printed circuit board assembly as a wave solder masking tape.
